Sue Memhard, is an artist, a holistic counselor, a published poet, children's writer and the founder of a national non-profit helping women with cancer. She is also a two-time breast cancer survivor, now in treatment for her third time.
Due to the cost of uninsured medical treatments she and her husband have spent their life savings and are at the end of their resources. While still in treatment, last year Sue founded The Emerald Heart Cancer Foundation to help other women with uninsured and integrative cancer care. Its staff includes numerous renowned advisors, including cancer pioneer Dr. Bernie Siegel, Dr. Joan Borysenko, Dr. Jerry Jamplosky, and Michigan's own Dr. Mark Roby, ND.
